The German RUCIP Committee has released the new edition of the RUCIP 2025 Rules and Practices of the Inter-European Trade in Potatoes in German for the first time. This makes a practical, accessible, and up-to-date framework for potato trading across Europe available to all stakeholders in German-speaking countries.
RUCIP 2025 defines the framework conditions for potato trade within Europe. The system has long been a proven tool for ensuring fair market conditions and provides a fast, cost-effective alternative to court proceedings through its arbitration and conciliation mechanisms.
Effective 1 October 2025, the RUCIP Rules have undergone a comprehensive revision to reflect current legal and market developments. Key updates include:
- A clearer, more user-friendly structure;
- Greater transparency in arbitration procedures;
- Stronger alignment with EU plant health regulations;
- A revised contribution and fee structure.
All documents and further information are available online on this website.
